LEMON BARS 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
4 tbsp. flour
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix together first 2 ingredients, cutting in butter. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Make a ridge and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs slightly and add sugar and lemon juice. fold in flour and baking powder. Pour over the baked crust and bake 25 minutes more. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into bars when cool. May be cut in half and baked in 8x8x2 inch pan.
