PEACH CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten separately
2 c. cooked, dried peaches
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in buttermilk
Spices to taste
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. nuts
2 lg. c. flour

Stew peaches; sweeten to taste and mash. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and beat. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add with peaches, nuts, raisins, and spices. Gradually add flour, beating after each addition. Bake in tube cake pan slowly for 1 hour.
