SKILLET APPLE DESSERT 
3 lg. red cooking apples
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. light brown sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Whipping cream

Core apples; cut into 1/2 inch thick wedges in skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and salt; cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes stirring frequently. Spoon apples and syrup into 6 dessert dishes and top with whipped cream.
