HAMBURGER VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 c. tomatoes
1 c. tomato juice
1 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. sliced carrots
1 c. diced potatoes
1 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. diced green pepper
6 c. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. corn
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. dill
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Brown meat in skillet. Drain and add remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf before serving.
