PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup unbleached flour
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup apple juice
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream sugars and butter together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix the flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.

Add alternately to creamed mixture with cider and pumpkin. Beat well.

Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour until bread tests done.

Makes 2 loaves.
