MOM'S SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water

Boil for 5 minutes. Set aside.

2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Add this to the raisins, then add 3/4 cup sour cream. Cook until thickened, then add 3 slightly beaten egg yolks.

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour into baked pie shell. Add meringue and brown.

MOM'S PERFECT PIE CRUST:

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. and 2 tbsp. lard, cut into above with fork, until crumbly

1/4 ice water

Make into ball. Roll out. Makes 2 single crusts or 1 double. This crust does not fail.
