CRAB MEAT CASSEROLE 
2 c. crab meat
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. sharp grated cheese
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of pepper
1 c. bread crumbs

Melt butter in double boiler. Add pepper and onion. Cook about 5 minutes, then add flour and blend until frothy. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Add crab meat, salt and pepper. Cook slowly for about 10 minutes. Pour into well buttered casserole, sprinkle with bread crumbs. Dot with butter and bake until brown.
