PINEAPPLE UPSIDE - DOWN CAKE | |
3/4 stick butter 3/4 box brown sugar 1 can pineapple rings 1 jar maraschino cherries 1 box white or yellow cake mix Using a 10 x 2 inch deep cast iron skillet, melt the butter. Then place pineapple rings in bottom of skillet. Rings should be touching - probably seven or eight rings. Place a cherry inside each ring. Pack brown sugar on top of butter, rings and cherries. Prepare favorite mix and pour over all the above. Cook time and temperature according to cake mix recipe. Then cool and flip onto a plate. |
