STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 pt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 c. 7-Up or Sprite
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 of a (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 baked pie crust
Whipped topping

Cook sugar, 7-Up and cornstarch until thick, stirring constantly. Take off heat and add Jello. Let cool and add sliced strawberries. Place in pie shell and refrigerate. When set, top with whipped topping. Serves 6 to 8 people.

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: In 1-quart glass measuring cup, combine sugar, 7-Up and cornstarch. Cook 1 minute on High and stir. Cook 2 to 4 minutes until thick. Remove and add Jello. Let cool and add sliced strawberries. Place in pie shell and refrigerate. Top with whipped topping when set.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
