MAKE AHEAD CABBAGE SALAD 
10 c. shredded cabbage
2 c. shredded carrots
1 minced green pepper
1 sm. onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper

Soften gelatin in a little cold water. Heat vinegar and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add seasonings. Stir into gelatin. Beat in the salad oil. Will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator or can be frozen.
