BBQ BEEF 
4 c. cooked beef, cubed
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. water or broth
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. salt
2 chopped onions
1/2 c. butter
1 c. ketchup or chili sauce or 1/2 of each
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
About 20 hamburger buns

Cook meat the day before or early in the day. Combine the vinegar, water, sugar, mustard, pepper, salt, onions, and butter. Simmer 20 minutes. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and meat. Simmer slowly for about 45 minutes. Split and toast the hamburger buns. Put barbecue mixture on top of buns.
