ICE BOX ROLLS 
1 cake yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. sweet milk, scalded
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. mashed Irish potatoes
5 1/2 c. flour

Break eggs in bowl, beat well. Then add shortening and sugar to scalded milk, then salt and flour. Put in refrigerator until ready to make rolls. Don't knead too much flour in when making into rolls. Let rise 2 hours. Bake in a moderate oven.
