CRABMEAT CUSTARD SANDWICHES 
12 slices trimmed bread, buttered on one side
1 lb. crab meat
12 slices Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1 qt. milk
1 tbsp. minced onion
Salt and pepper

Place 6 slices bread, buttered side down, on baking dish. Place slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Divide crabmeat into 6 parts on top of cheese. Then 6 slices of bread, buttered side up. Beat eggs, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over sandwiches. Top with remaining cheese. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate at least 12 hours. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
