CREAM CHEESE COCONUT POUND CAKE | |
1/2 c. Crisco 8 oz. cream cheese 1/4 c. butter 3 c. sugar 6 eggs 3 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 tsp. coconut flavoring 6 oz. frozen coconut Have butter, cream cheese and Crisco, at room temperature. Cream sugar and first 3 ingredients. Add eggs, then flour which has been sifted with baking powder and salt. Add flavoring and coconut and bake at 275 to 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. |
