SYLVIA'S SISTER - IN - LAW'S
EASY LEMON POUND CAKE
 
1 box Duncan Hines lemon cake
1 (3 oz.) box instant lemon pudding
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix ingredients together until batter is smooth. Pour into well greased tube pan (I also put wax paper on bottom to help it come out of the pan). Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes and turn out on a plate. While hot, pour a drizzle over the cake.

DRIZZLE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
Grated lemon peel
1 tsp. lemon juice

Mix together.

Note: You can reduce the eggs and fat by following the lite directions on the cake mix box.
