VANILLA WAFER CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 6 whole eggs 12 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed 1/2 c. milk 7 oz. falked coconut 1 c. chopped pecans Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, two at a time, beating after each addition. Add crushed wafers alternately with milk. Add coconut and pecans. Bake in a 9 inch tube pan in a 325 degree oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from pan while hot. No icing is needed. |
