DEEP FRIED PARSNIP BALLS 
10 parsnips
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. onion salt
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook 10 parsnips; drain, mash and cool. Add 1 beaten egg, 1/2 cup flour, salt and pepper to taste, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder or salt. Mix well. Spoon into hot oil and brown lightly in individual balls. Place on paper towels and serve. Freezes very well.
