TOMATO PUDDING 
1 1/2 to 2 c. fresh 1 inch bread crumbs (could use toasted)
1/3 to 1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (10 oz.) can tomato puree

Place bread cubes in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Pour melted butter over bread. Combine remaining ingredients. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour over bread. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
