GUMDROP COOKIES 
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp. water
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. gumdrops, cut in 1/4 inch pieces
2/3 c. chopped nuts
Orange icing

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat eggs until light and lemon-colored; blend with water into creamed mixture. Sift together flour, cinnamon and salt; gradually stir into sugar mixture. Fold in gumdrops and nuts. Pour into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake in 350 degree oven about 25 minutes. Frost with orange icing while still warm. Makes 30 - 2 1/2 inch squares.

ORANGE ICING:

Combine: 2 tbsp. orange juice 1 tsp. grated orange rind 1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar

Beat until smooth.
