TATER TOTS CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground chuck (raw)
1 med. onion
6 to 8 slices American cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 lb. tater tots (frozen)

Spray a 3-quart casserole with Pam. Crumble ground chuck loosely in bottom of casserole. Next, top meat with onion, layer cheese (whole slices), then layer cheese (whole slices). Layer with vegetables. Spread soup over top. Layer top with tater tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Keep covered until last 1/2 hour. Can be made ahead and refrigerated. If so, bake for 2 hours.
