STUFFED CRABS 
12 clean crab shells
1 lb. white crab meat
2 onions, finely chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, optional
8 oz. can bread crumbs, plain or Italian
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over low heat. Add onions, celery, parsley, garlic and bell pepper. Saute until tender. Add crabmeat, seasonings and bread crumbs, stirring constantly while adding water until desired consistency. Cook for 15 minutes on low heat. Put mixture in shells. Sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
