6 lg. garlic cloves, chopped
5 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
2/3 qt. salad oil
1/2 qt. vinegar

Shake well! Pour over salad. Also use for marinating artichokes or asparagus.
