BAKED ZITI 
1 lb. ziti
1 lb. sausage (Italian)
2 (15 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
1 (15 oz.) Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Mix together:

1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. oregano (or more to taste)

Boil ziti in salted water as package directs. UNDER COOK SLIGHTLY. Drain. Set aside.

In same Dutch oven pot, remove casing from sausage and brown thoroughly. Break into small pieces. Drain fat. Remove from heat. Add Ricotta mixture, 1 jar of sauce and half of Mozzarella. Toss. Add ziti and toss gently. Pour into a 13x9 pan. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle Mozzarella over top to cover.

Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
