BELGIUM BISCUITS (COOKIE) | |
4 oz. butter 3 oz. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. mixed spice 1 tsp. ground ginger 1 egg 8 oz. flour 1 tsp. baking powder Cream butter and sugar and spices together. Add egg and beat. Mix in dry ingredients. Knead on floured board. Roll out thin, cut into rounds. Bake on greased trays 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Put together with raspberry jam and ice the top of each biscuit, and decorate with angelica and cherry or sprinkle red jelly crystals. |
