3 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 lg. eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Sift together all dry ingredients; then add to butter mixture. Bake in greased tube pan for approximately one hour. Do not overbake!!

Cool in pan for 15 minutes then on rack.
