COFFEE WALNUT CAKE 
4 oz. butter
4 oz. castor sugar (Brown)
3 eggs
6 oz. plain flour
pinch of salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3 oz. shelled walnuts
1 tbsp. strong coffee

Cream fat and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add sifted flour, salt and baking soda. Folding lightly add coffee and chopped walnuts. Mix well.

Turn into a greased lined 6 inch cake pan.

Bake at 325 for 1 1/4 hours. When cooled decorate with coffee icing and walnuts.
