STRAWBERRY GELATIN MOLD | |
2 Bananas 1 large box Strawberry Jello 1 (16 oz.) can Crushed Pineapple 1 (16 oz.) container Sour Cream (or cool whip if served as dessert) 1 large bag Frozen Strawberries 2 1/2 cup Boiling Water 1 cup Walnuts 1. Boil water and add Jello to the bowl. Add a few tablespoons of cold water. 2. Mix frozen strawberries with Jello (do not allow strawberries to thaw). Add walnuts, pineapple (drain juice) and chopped banana (chop into slices 1/2-inch thick). Mix all together with a large spoon. 3. Lightly grease bottom of large Pyrex dish or pan with oil. Pour 1/2 of mixture into pan and apread sour cream on top. Place in freezer for 15 minutes. 4. Take out of freezer and add rest of gelatin mixture. Place in refrigerator overnight. You can prepare this early in the morning and refrigerate it for 4 -6 hours if you want to serve it the same day. |
