CRANBERRY MUFFINS 
Cream 1/2 cup sugar with 1 1/2 tablespoons butter. Mix the following ingredients together:

1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. canned milk

Add to the creamed mixture. Fold in 1 cup raw cranberries, being careful not to break berries. Fill muffin tins 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Makes 6.

BUTTER CREAM SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. heavy cream (not whipped)

Mix together and heat until sugar and cream are melted. Pour over muffins.
