PARTY COOKIE BARS | |
Keebler Cinnamon Crisp Graham Crackers (2 boxes) 1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. milk 1 c. crushed cinnamon crisp 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped dates (8 oz. pkg.) 1 tsp. vanilla Cover 10x15 cookie sheet with whole crackers. Bring to full boil butter, egg, sugar, milk and dates. Remove from heat and add crushed crackers, nuts, coconut and vanilla. Mix and pour over crackers in pan. Cover with another layer of whole crackers. Frost. FROSTING: Stir together: 2 c. powdered sugar Juice of 1 lemon Spread over crackers. Refrigerate. Cut and serve. Freezes well and stays several days in refrigerator. |
