1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. strawberry gelatin
1 pie shell, baked
1 c. hot water
2 c. fresh strawberries, chopped

Mix sugar, cornstarch and water. Cook until clear and thick. Add gelatin; stir until completely dissolved. Put strawberries in baked pie shell and pour syrup over strawberries. Chill and top with Cool Whip.
