COLE SLAW | |
8 C cabbage 3 carrots 1 green pepper 1 medium onion 1/4 C cold water 1 pkg. gelatin 1 C vinegar 1-1/2 C sugar 1 tsp celery seed 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 C salad oil Combine cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Heat vinegar and sugar until dissolved. Then add celery seed, salt, pepper and gelatin. Cool. When cool add salad oil and pour over cabbage. Refrigerate several hours prior to serving. |
