1 box German chocolate cake
3/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk
14 oz. bag caramels
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips

Prepare cake mix. Grease 9x12 pan. Pour 1/2 batter into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels with milk and butter. Pour over baked cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips and 3/4 cup nuts. Cover with remaining cake - top with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
