REUBEN PIE 
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. canned milk
1 c. rye bread crumbs
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. mustard
8 oz. can sauerkraut
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. cooked corn beef
6 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
1 pie shell

PIE SHELL:

2 c. flour
2/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
4-5 tbsp. water

Mix as for regular crust and put in pie plate.

Have butcher grind the corned beef. Combine egg, milk, bread, salt, pepper and mustard. Add sauerkraut and meat. Mix well. Place half of mixture into shell. Sprinkle half of cheese over meat. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 45 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
