TOMATO SOUP CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. shortening
1 can Campbell's tomato soup
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. candied fruit or raisins or mince meat

Sift dry ingredients. Add shortening and eggs and 1/2 can of soup. Blend until smooth. Add remaining soup, then fold in nuts and cloves and candied fruit or raisins or mince meat.

ICING:

3 oz. cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients. Makes a good cake to serve at Christmas time!
