CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. nuts

Beat liquid shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown, about 8-10 minutes. Makes lots.
