M. A.'S SAUSAGE STEW 
5 lbs. Italian sausage (hot and sweet)
2 lg. cans crushed tomatoes
6 lg. carrots, cut into lg. chunks
6 lg. sweet potatoes, chunked
6 lg. white potatoes, chunked
1 lg. bag green beans
2 lg. green peppers, lg. pieces
2 lg. onions, quartered
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp. Italian seasoning

Note: Vegetables can be cooked whole or cut into large pieces for a hearty stew.

In a large pot put in sausage, carrots and tomatoes. Add enough water to cover. Simmer for 1 hour then add the rest of the ingredients and cook for about 1 1/2 hours.
