2 c. applesauce
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 pkg. dry yellow cake mix
1 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. heavy cream, whipped (do not add sugar to cream)

Generously grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Dump in applesauce. Dump pineapple on top and spread cake mix over pineapple. Pour melted butter over cake. Mix and sprinkle nuts over butter. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream if desired.
