SPICED NUTS 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
2 to 3 c. pecan halves

In saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, cinnamon and butter. Bring to rolling boil over medium heat and boil one minute. Stir in vanilla, salt and pecan halves. Pour onto lightly buttered baking sheet. Cool and separate pecan halves. Makes 2 or 3 cups.
