BEEF JERKY 
5 lbs. trimmed beef brisket
5 oz. bottle soy sauce
5 oz. liquid smoke
Onion powder
Garlic powder

Slice trimmed brisket 1/4 inch thick. Layer brisket with soy sauce, liquid smoke. Sprinkle each layer with garlic and onion powder. Marinate at least 8 hours. Layer marinated brisket on a cookie sheet (I use a large broiler pan so juices can drain) and cook at 150 degrees for 10 hours. Kids love it!
