SPICED PEACHES 
2 (29 oz.) cans cling peach halves
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 tsp. whole cloves

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine peach syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peach halves and let cool. Chill overnight before serving. Store in the refrigerator.

Makes 4 pints.
