CALICO RELISH 
4-6 med. unpared cucumbers
6 med. carrots
2 onions
2 tbsp. salt

Grind vegetables together in food grinder. Add salt, let stand 3 hours.

BRINE:

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed

Bring brine to a boil. Add vegetables, cook 20 minutes. Seal in hot, sterilized jars.
