SCALLOPED CHICKEN 
3 lb. chicken, cooked or 1 qt. canned chicken

DRESSING:

1 1/2 qt. dry bread cubes
1/3 c. butter or shortening
1/4 c. minced onion
1/2 tsp. sage
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

GRAVY:

2 c. chicken broth
4 tbsp. flour
Seasonings

Arrange pieces of chicken in bottom of well oiled baking pan. Cut bread in 1/2 inch cubes. Add dry seasonings and mix well. Brown onions in butter or shortening and add to dressing. Pour gravy over chicken. Cover with dressing. Bake at 350 degrees until browned, about 25-30 minutes. Yields 6-8 servings.
