CHOCOLATE CHUNK PECAN COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
3 (3 oz.) bars Swiss dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chunks, chopped in 1/2 inch pieces

Lightly grease cookie sheets. Mix butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until fluffy. Reduce mixer speed to low. Add flour. Increase mixer speed gradually and beat until blended. Stir in chocolate and pecans. Drop heaping tablespoons 2 1/2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 17 minutes in 325 degree oven. Makes about 22 cookies.
