OVEN BEEF STEW 
1 lb. beef stew meat in lg. chunks
2 lg. carrots, diced lg.
2 lg. potatoes, diced lg.
1 can tomato soup
1/4 c. red dinner wine or water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas

Put all ingredients except peas in deep covered casserole dish. Bake at 250 degrees for 4-5 hours, stirring once or twice. Add peas last 20 minutes or cook separately and add when serving. Hot biscuits and a salad complete the dinner. Serves 6.
