VINEGAR PIE CRUST 
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar

Blend flour, sugar, salt and shortening. Mix water with egg and vinegar; add to dry ingredients. Divide into 4 balls. Roll out each with a rolling pin. Yield 4 crusts. Note: This crust is always flaky!
