BROWN SUGAR POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken pecans

Cream butter and butter, and add sugars. Beat until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mixture alternately with milk, add vanilla and nuts. Bake in greased tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees for 90 minutes.
