CHILI MOSTACCIOLI 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 c. onion, chopped
3/4 c. green pepper, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (32 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. cumin (optional)
1/2 pkg. Creamette Mostaccioli
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Brown beef, onion, green pepper and garlic. Drain excess fat. Add tomatoes with liquid, tomato paste, kidney beans, mushrooms and seasonings. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Prepare Mostaccioli according to package directions. Drain. Toss with softened butter. Arrange on a large serving dish and pour on meat sauce. Top with cheese. 6-8 servings.
