SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked rice
1 can (16 oz.) cream style corn
2 green peppers, sliced and parboiled
2 onions, sliced and sauteed
2 c. tomato sauce
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef, seasoned
4 strips bacon, cut in halves
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese mixed with crisped buttered bread crumbs

Place a layer of rice in a deep, buttered casserole. Cover it with corn. Add green peppers and onions and layer with part of the tomato sauce. Season the ground beef and spread it over the sauce, covering it with the remaining tomato sauce. Add the bacon pieces and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add cheese topping and continue baking for another 20 or 30 minutes.
