ALL AMERICAN FUDGE SAUCE 
1/2 c. butter
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light cream
1 tsp. vanilla

In heavy saucepan melt butter and chocolate together. Mix the cocoa and 1/4 cup of the sugar and stir in. Add the cream, then the remainder of the 1/2 cup sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat immediately and add vanilla. Cool, then refrigerate. To reheat fudge sauce, place container in a pan of hot water until sauce reaches pouring consistency. Makes 2 cups.
