BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
7 oz. semi sweet chocolate, finely chopped (or chocolate bits)
1 c. chopped Hazel nuts or walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9"x13" baking pan.

Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar, eggs, cocoa, vanilla. Stir in flour and salt. Add chocolate and nuts. Spread in pan, bake 25 to 30 minutes until tester comes out barely moist but not wet. Cool in pan on rack. Chill before cutting. May be frozen.
